Dehradun, Jan. 21 -- A Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted by the Uttarakhand government to probe the death by suicide of a farmer Sukhwant Singh, has issued summons to Udhamsingh Nagar SSP Manikant Mishra for recording his statement. Manikant Mishra was named by the deceased in his suicide video that went viral after he shot himself dead at a hotel in Nainital.
The information was shared in a statement issued by the Uttarakhand police headquarter(PHQ) saying that Mishra needed to appear before the SIT for recording his statement.
