New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday strongly criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks against union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu in Parliament, calling them "shameful" and an insult to the Sikh community.

Sirsa said Gandhi used unacceptable language and referred to Bittu as a "traitor", which he condemned in strong words.

The statement came after a video circulated on social media showing a verbal exchange between Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition, and union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu inside Parliament earlier in the day.
