New Delhi, Jan. 13 -- Delhi Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Gurmukhi Script Centre at Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, terming the initiative a visionary step towards preserving Sikh heritage and strengthening spiritual consciousness among future generations.
Addressing students and faculty, Sirsa said Gurmukhi is much more than a script and serves as a living medium that connects devotees directly with Guru Granth Sahib. He emphasised that moving away from Gurmukhi amounts to distancing oneself from the Guru's teachings, philosophy and spiritual path.
