Patna, June 29 -- The Congress today alleged that ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar was an attempt of BJP to deprive a large number of voters from exercising their franchise in next state assembly elections to be held in October-November this year.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress MP of Rajya Sabha, Digvijay Singh, told media persons here that SIR of electoral rolls was an attempt of BJP to prevent a large number of people from voting in next state assembly elections.
