New Delhi, Feb. 25 -- After delivering critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as 'Queen', 'Super 30', and 'Shaitan', filmmaker Vikas Bahl is preparing to explore an entirely new genre. Variety India has exclusively reported that Bahl is set to helm a full-fledged musical romance drama starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Alizeh in the lead roles.
The yet-untitled project is said to draw inspiration from the rise of the Punjabi underground movement in the UK. For an entire generation, UK Punjabi music was more than just a genre, it was rebellion set to rhythm.
