Mysuru, March 7 -- Karnataka's social harmony versus social division debate gained fresh focus on Saturday as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah used a temple inauguration event in Mysuru to caution against attempts to divide society in the name of caste and religion.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the new Shri Lakshmi Devi Amman temple at Shiramahalli in HD Kote, the Chief Minister said faith in God transcends caste and religious boundaries. He urged people to remain vigilant against forces attempting to create social divisions along caste and religious lines.
