Bengaluru, Jan. 28 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed deep grief over the passing of HV Anant Subba Rao, a senior leader of the Communist Party of India and a veteran labour activist.
Siddaramaiah described Anant Subba Rao as a "fighter who led numerous movements as a labour leader for over four decades" and recalled him as a close associate. He said the late leader's tireless spirit and ideological commitment served as an inspiration to all activists.
