From BD NarayankarHubballi, Feb. 24 -- Shubham Pundir rose to the grand stage with a career-defining century as Jammu and Kashmir seized control on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy Elite 2025-26 final against Karnataka at the KSCA Hubli Cricket Ground here on Tuesday.

In a summit clash carrying the weight of history and expectation, Pundir produced an innings of poise, patience and authority to remain unbeaten on 117 and guide Jammu and Kashmir to 284 for two at stumps after electing to bat.
