Patna, April 22 -- Senior BJP leader and former Bihar minister Shreyasi Singh on Wednesday strongly condemned the alleged objectionable remarks made by MP Pappu Yadav against women, demanding an immediate public apology from him and the Congress for supporting him.
While talking to news persons here, Singh termed the remarks as "indecent" and reflective of a "regressive mindset." She said, "Pappu Yadav's statement shows his thinking and upbringing. He must apologise to the women of the country without delay."She further questioned the MP's conduct, noting that his wife is also an elected representative and his daughter may enter public life in the future. "Will he behave in the same manner with them?" she asked.
