Meerut, Feb. 3 -- A tragic incident was reported from Paswada village under the Parikshitgarh police station area, where a small gas cylinder explosion led to a massive fire, killing an elderly shop owner who was burnt alive, police said on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim, identified as 75-year-old Yogendra, had been living alone in the village for a long time.
He ran a small shop in front of his room. On Monday night, Yogendra was cooking food inside his house when the gas cylinder suddenly exploded with a loud blast, triggering a fire.
