Dharamshala, Feb. 3 -- A fire broke out early morning on Monday in a local shop on Gurudwara Road in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, and no casualties are reported.

According to information, the local residents first noticed the fire and alerted others and police. The timely interference by local residents helped the fire from spreading to nearby shops as well as vehicles parked nearby.

Upon receiving the information, a team from the fire department arrived promptly and brought the fire under control.

The estimated loss due to the fire is around five lakh rupees.
