Agartala, Feb. 11 -- union Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with Tripura's Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and all his cabinet members and MPs, launched and laid the groundwork for 179 rural development initiatives, involving a total investment of Rs 546.79 crore on Wednesday.
Chouhan inaugurated the state's inaugural conference for elected officials, which assembled representatives from local Panchayats up to Parliament. This gathering aimed to discuss the effective implementation of the new Viksit Bharat-G Ram G Act 2025, legislation that has replaced MGNREGA.
