Mumbai, Jan. 12 -- Mumbai witnessed fresh political and legal developments ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections after a spokesperson of the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) approached the Bombay High Court challenging the nomination of former Mumbai mayor and rival Shiv Sena candidate Kishori Pednekar.

The plea alleged that Pednekar had suppressed crucial information regarding multiple FIRs registered against her while filing her nomination papers for the upcoming civic polls.
