Kolhapur, Aug. 11 -- Kolhapur district Shiv Sena (UBT) workers in Maharashtra today took out a 'Karj Mukti Dindi' (rally for loan waive) in Chandgad tehsil demanding farmers loan be remitted as part of a statewide agitation.

The workers, led by Nitin Banugade-Patil and Sanjay Pawar, took out a rally from Ravinath Temple demanding immediate farm loan remission.

While addressing the rally, Banugade Patil said Uddhav Sena will not back down until the farmers demands were met. The Mahayuti goverment remitted the huge loans of big industrialists, but turned a blind eye to farmers' loans.
