Mumbai, Feb. 16 -- The Maharashtra government ordered a structural and safety audit on all ongoing projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region on Monday following a mishap on Saturday last in which one person was killed and three others injured when a concrete slab from the under-construction Metro Line 4 corridor crashed onto vehicles moving along the busy LBS Marg in suburban Mulund.
The deceased was identified as Ramdhan Yadav, a local Samajwadi Party office bearer and village head. He was reportedly on his way to attend a wedding when the slab collapsed on his vehicle.The injured persons were shifted to hospital for medical care.
