Thane, May 1 -- Commuters in Thane are set to experience more comfortable and environmentally friendly travel as an air-conditioned double-decker electric bus has been inducted into the Thane Municipal Transport service.
The bus was formally inaugurated on Friday by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who said the addition would significantly improve the daily travel experience of residents. He also urged citizens to treat the bus as their own and ensure its proper care and maintenance.
