Shimla, Feb. 27 -- Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday inaugurated a state-of-the-art 3 Tesla MRI machine at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), installed at a cost of approximately Rs. 23 crore.
The advanced diagnostic equipment is expected to significantly enhance imaging services and benefit patients from across Himachal Pradesh.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the nearly 20-year-old MRI machine previously in use at IGMC had been replaced with high-end technology to provide more accurate, faster, and detailed diagnostic results.
