Shimla, Feb. 15 -- Security arrangements have been tightened across Shimla ahead of the budget session of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha beginning February 16, with the district administration dividing the town into five sectors to ensure foolproof law and order.

Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap chaired a high-level meeting to review preparedness and directed all departments to maintain close coordination with the police to prevent any disruption during the Assembly proceedings.

He emphasized that sector officers must remain vigilant and ensure smooth conduct of the session.
