Shimla, June 14 -- In view of the ongoing summer tourist season and a significant rise in vehicular traffic across Shimla city, Shimla police have implemented special measures to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.
To bolster field enforcement, 46 additional police officers have been deployed to the Traffic Wing, Shimla. These officials have been strategically posted to 23 vacant traffic duty points across the city, with the objective of enhancing traffic regulation in congestion- prone areas.
