Shimla, Feb. 13 -- In a coordinated, technology-driven crackdown under the NDPS framework, police have dismantled an inter-state heroin ('chitta') supply network operating across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh, arresting the alleged kingpin Vijay alias David alias Bihari from Zirakpur after a 24-hour field operation.
Addressing the media, Superintendent of Police Garav Singh said the breakthrough emerged from a strengthened "backward linkage" probe in five parallel cases registered at police stations Boileauganj, Theog, Rampur and Kumarsain.
