Shimla, June 27 -- The Shimla District Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) staged a strong protest today outside the District Magistrate's office, condemning Israel's continued military offensive in Palestine and demanded a ban on India's arms and drone exports to Israel.
Party leaders accused the Israeli government of committing atrocities against innocent civilians and violating international law.
Led by Comrade Rakesh Singha, Sanjay Chauhan, Vijendra Mehra, Jagat Ram, and Maulana Mumtaz Ahmed Qasmi, the protesters alleged that over 56,000 Palestinians, including a large number of women and children, have been killed in Israeli strikes.
