Shillong, Nov. 19 -- The Shillong Literary Festival, touted as the largest such literary gathering in the North-East, is back, It is set to commence here in Meghalaya on Thursday at the 100-year-old Ward's lake.

Over 60 award-winning international, national, and regional authors, including International Booker Prize winners Banu Mustaq and Shehan Karukaratne, will engage with audiences, presenting their books and discussing a wide range of topics.

Other iconic writers presenting their work include Francesc Miralles, the Spanish author of the best-selling 'Ikigai', and Sam Darylmple, whose 'Shattered Lands' has just been published.
