Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Former India opener and Arjuna Awardee Shikhar Dhawan has been appointed the Brand Ambassador of the inaugural Delhi Khel Mahakumbh, a flagship grassroots sports initiative of the Directorate of Education and Sports, Government of NCT of Delhi.
The multi-sport event aims to strengthen participation and talent identification at the school and community levels across the capital, as per a press release.
Aimed at creating structured pathways for young athletes, the Delhi Khel Mahakumbh will serve as a large-scale competitive platform, bringing together aspiring sportspersons from all 12 districts of Delhi.
