Mumbai, Feb. 2 -- Nationalist Congress Party veteran Sharad Pawar on Monday questioned the credibility of statements by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and leaders of the late Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction regarding internal talks on the merger of the two NCP groups.
Talking to mediapersons, Pawar said that those who were neither directly involved in nor connected to the merger discussions would naturally have no credible information about meetings related to such talks. He posed this question directly to Chief Minister Fadnavis as well as leaders from the Ajit Pawar group.
