Varanasi, Feb. 5 -- Ashutosh Dimri, president of the Shri Badrinath Dimri Religious Central Panchayat, the apex body of the Badrinath Dham priestly community, met Jyotishpeethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati at Shri Vidyamath on Shankaracharya Ghat in Varanasi on Thursday.
Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand said that Dimri, along with a delegation, presented him with an invitation to attend the departure ceremony from Rishikesh to Badrinath Dham for the important tradition of the Tel Kalash (Gadu Ghada) procession, which is associated with the opening of the Badrinath Dham gates.
