New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- The National Capital woke up to shallow fog across several areas on Wednesday morning, reducing visibility and affecting early commute conditions.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Safdarjung recorded the lowest visibility at 350 metres under moderate fog, while Palam reported visibility dropping to 500 metres amid shallow fog.

Delhi witnessed a dip in night temperatures and a noticeable rise in daytime readings over the past 24 hours, according to the latest IMD report.

Minimum temperatures fell by 1-2degC, while maximum temperatures climbed by 3-5degC across the national capital.
