Posting on Instagram Stories, Shahid uploaded a picture with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the acclaimed filmmaker duo Raj & DK, who created, produced, and directed the series. Alongside the image, he wrote, "The fakers are back at it," confirming that work on the new season has begun.
Raj & DK also hinted at the show's return on their Instagram account. Sharing a photo of stacked currency notes, they captioned it, "Round 2 in progress," signaling the comeback of the hit series.
