New Delhi, April 11 -- The Cyber Police of Shahdara district has busted a high-return investment fraud racket and arrested three accused for allegedly cheating a Delhi resident of Rs 10 lakh through a fake stock market scheme.
According to police, the victim was lured in December 2025 via a WhatsApp group where fraudsters promised guaranteed and high returns on stock market investments. Trusting the claims, the complainant transferred Rs 10 lakh, but received neither returns nor a refund. The accused later cut off all communication, confirming the fraud.
