New Delhi, Jan. 16 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the third international Kite Festival in the national capital on Friday, saying the event would connect Delhi with the entire country.
Shah said that with the efforts of Delhi Lieutenant Governor, the festival organized on the occasion of Makar Sankranti has become an appropriate example of "One India Great India (Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat." He asked the administration and the DDA to form a committee to further expand the scope of the festival to increase public participation.
