Chandigarh, Feb. 26 -- The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has implemented a mandatory dress code for all its employees, banning the use of trousers and shirts within its official premises.

SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami issued a formal directive stating that all staff members must now report for duty wearing the traditional Sikh attire, specifically the kurta-pajama.

The decision aims to reflect the core values and aesthetics of the Sikh faith within the administrative offices of the apex religious body.
