Chennai, Oct. 28 -- The Severe Cyclonic Storm "Montha" overwestcentral Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards with aspeed of 15 kmph during the past six hours and lay centered at1530 hrs of today over the same region.
In a latest update, Met office said it now lay centred about60 km south-southeast of Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh),140 km south-southeast of Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh),240 km south-southwest of Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)and 480 km south-southwest of Gopalpur (Odisha).
