Ranchi, Feb. 7 -- Weather conditions in Jharkhand have taken a sudden turn, with severe cold making a strong comeback across the state. After a brief rise in temperatures over the past few days, a sharp drop has been recorded, intensifying cold conditions. The minimum temperature in Ranchi plunged to 6.2 degrees Celsius, causing biting cold and discomfort for residents.
Similar conditions prevailed in several other districts, where temperatures were recorded well below normal.
According to the India Meteorological Department, heavy snowfall in the Himalayan region and the influx of cold northerly winds are directly impacting Jharkhand's weather. The department has indicated that the cold wave conditions may persist for the next one week....
