Hamirpur(HP), Jan. 21 -- The Hamirpur police is actively doing its best to nab the drug addicts, and in this connection, it has arrested seven persons, including a girl, during the last twenty-four hours.
SP, Hamirpur, Balbir Singh Thakur said that in a significant operation, Sadar Police, acting on credible inputs, recovered 39.78 grams of chitta from Ward No. 3, Pratapnagar. The accused, namely Rajesh Kumar, Lalit Thakur, Naresh Kumar, Aditya Pandit, and Anu Kumari, have been arrested.
The police have registered an FIR No. 24/2026 dated 20-01-2026 under Sections 21 and 29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Sadar, Hamirpur.
