Jaipur, Feb. 16 -- As many as seven persons were burned alive in a massive fire that broke out in a chemical factory in Khushkhera industrial area of Khairthal-Tizara district in Rajasthan today morning.
According to police and Fire Brigade sources, the blaze broke out with a big bang early this morning which soon engulfed the entire factory premises, creating panic among people in the nearby areas.
The flames spread fast because some combustible material was also piled up in the premises, the sources said.
More than half a dozen of fire brigade units were immediately pressed into action for extinguishing the fire. These firefighter squads had to work hard for several hours to control the flames.
