Hyderabad, May 11 -- In a major step towards strengthening livestock-based livelihoods and the economic empowerment of rural women, the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) and P V Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Hyderabad on Monday.
The agreement, signed at B R K R Bhavan, aims to provide technical guidance and training to women belonging to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in dairy farming, sheep and goat rearing, and backyard poultry activities.
