Hamirpur, Feb. 6 -- Sepsis affects roughly 1 in every 100 individuals in India. About 85% of global sepsis-related deaths occur in low - and middle-income countries like India.
The high incidence of sepsis in India is often linked to infectious diseases and increasing antimicrobial resistance, according to a noted Epidemiologist - Dr Naresh Purohit.
