Chandigarh, Jan. 28 -- Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Wednesday said the union Budget 2026-27, which the union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present on Feb 1, is slated to further strengthen India's growth momentum and accelerate the country's journey towards an inclusive Viksit Bharat by 2047.
"I am confident that union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present another transformative union Budget on Feb 1," said Tandon.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as one of the world's fastest-growing major economies, supported by strong domestic demand, a resilient services sector, and sustained public investment in infrastructure.
