Shillong/Hyderabad, April 22 -- Telangana Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Wednesday inspected Anganwadi services in Meghalaya and praised the state's innovative approach to early childhood development, particularly the "1000 Days Program" and strong youth participation.

During her official visit, accompanied by senior officials, the Minister toured Anganwadi centres and observed that they have evolved into hubs for holistic child development, going beyond nutrition to include play-based learning and a creative educational environment.

She commended the Meghalaya Early Childhood Development Mission (ECDM) for integrating health, nutrition and education for children aged 0-6 years.
