Hyderabad, Jan. 14 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Wednesday strongly condemned what she termed as false propaganda being spread about the abolition of Mulugu district, asserting that there was no question of the district being removed.

Speaking to the media, Seethakka said the Congress was among those who fought for the formation of Mulugu district and questioned why the government would abolish it. "We strongly condemn the propaganda that Mulugu district is being abolished. We are the ones who fought for the formation of Mulugu district," she said.
