Kolkata, May 10 -- Security arrangements at the West Bengal secretariat Nabanna have been significantly strengthened ahead of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari's first visit on Monday after assuming office.
According to sources, the chief minister is scheduled to reach Nabanna around noon and chair a series of high-level administrative meetings with senior bureaucrats, district magistrates, and top police officials.
In view of the visit, both Kolkata Police and Howrah City Police have intensified security measures in and around the state administrative headquarters.
