Patna, Feb. 27 -- Bihar Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Thursday informed the State Assembly that the State Disaster Response Force is being expanded in a phased manner and will be deployed up to the sub-divisional level.
Intervening during the reply of Disaster Management Minister Narayan Prasad to a short notice question by MLA Kundan Kumar, Choudhary said the expansion process was systematic and stage-wise.
He said the SDRF headquarters was initially established at Bihta, following which teams were deployed at district headquarters. In the next phase, units would be stationed at the sub-divisional level.
