Etawah, March 18 -- A major incident was narrowly averted in Etawah when a school van carrying children suddenly caught fire, triggering panic among the passengers.
Fortunately, all the children managed to escape in time by jumping out of the vehicle, though three of them sustained minor injuries in the chaos.
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday afternoon near Nagla Ganu village in the Bharthana police station area, around 30 km from the district headquarters.
The video of the incident, captured on CCTV, surfaced later at night and is now circulating widely on social media on Wednesday, after which the incident came to the knowledge of local police.
