Agartala, Oct. 21 -- Tripura police has been accused of serious negligence and violation of fundamental rights of a citizen in police custody while dealing with one of the accused of Rs 164 Cr PWD scam retired chief engineer Sunil Bhowmik during remand, which forced them to shift him in ICU of Agartala Govt Medical College (AGMC) last evening.
According to the medical report, his blood pressure and blood sugar were found abnormally high coupled with multiple health complain including psychological trauma.
Reportedly, his health condition was deteriorating for past two days but police did not care it despite specific direction from the court to Superintendent of Police (West Tripura) for supervising his food and other amenities including ...
