New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- The Supreme Court has referred a long-pending property dispute relating to a prime parcel of land in Hyderabad to mediation and appointed former Supreme Court judge Justice (retd.) Sudhanshu Dhulia as the mediator, while directing the parties to maintain status quo on the disputed property.

A bench comprising Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Vijay Bishnoi passed the order while hearing special leave petitions arising out of multiple judgments of the Telangana High Court in R. Ravindranath v. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation & Ors.
