New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- The Supreme Court today modified its earlier order of August 11 which had directed the rounding up of all stray dogs in Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) and prohibited their release from shelters.
A three-judge Bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sandeep Mehta and Justice NV Anjaria clarified that stray dogs will now be released back into the same areas after being dewormed, vaccinated and sterilized. To this extent, the August 11 order was altered.
