Barabanki, Jan. 23 -- An online fraud case involving the use of a mule bank account has come to light at the main branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) located at the district headquarters in Barabanki. Following the investigation, an FIR has been registered against a woman account holder and a youth for their alleged involvement.
The case surfaced during the verification of mule accounts listed under NCRP-14C by the Cyber Crime Headquarters, Lucknow. The investigation revealed that the bank account was held in the name of Ramdulari, a resident of Mohna Sethmau village under Satrikh police station, Barabanki.
