Kolkata, Jan. 19 -- The main organiser of Argentine football star Lionel Messi's event in Kolkata, Satadru Dutta, was granted conditional bail by a city court on Monday.
The bail came more than a month after his arrest in connection with the chaos at Salt Lake Stadium.
According to court sources, the Bidhannagar Court released Dutta on two security bonds of Rs 5,000 each.
As part of the bail conditions, he has been barred from leaving the state. This is the third time Dutta had moved the court for bail; his earlier two applications had been rejected.
Dutta was arrested on December 13 from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, hours after widespread disorder broke out at the Yuva Bharati Krirangan during an event linked to Me...
