Visakhapatnam, Jan. 10 -- : Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, offered prayers at the famous Kanaka Mahalakshmi Ammavari Temple here on Saturday morning as part of his city tour.
On his arrival at the temple, he was welcomed by temple priests with the traditional Poornakumbham ceremony, in accordance with temple customs.
Special rituals were conducted in the presence of the deity, followed by Vedic blessings.
