London, Oct. 9 -- Acclaimed Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, celebrated for her performances in "Brooklyn", "Lady Bird" and "Little Women", is set to step into the shoes of Linda McCartney, the late photographer, musician and animal rights advocate, in Sam Mendes' visionary project "The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event."Conceived as an unprecedented cinematic experiment, the project will recount the meteoric rise and enduring legacy of The Beetles through four interlinked films, each told from the perspective of a different band member.
Ronan joins a cast that includes Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon.
