Bengaluru, April 3 -- Panic gripped a public event in Bengaluru on Friday after former Karnataka Lokayukta and retired Supreme Court judge N Santosh Hegde collapsed on stage while addressing a gathering.
The 85-year-old jurist was speaking at a felicitation programme organised by the Bharat Scouts and Guides at Kondajji Basappa Auditorium when he suddenly appeared weak and uneasy, eyewitnesses said. Moments later, he sat down, vomited and lost consciousness, triggering alarm among those present.
